On Friday night I got a call from an old friend who our paths keep on crossing. She offered me 2 tickets to go and see Fantastic Beast on the X screen at Cineworld, 02. I jumped at them because I’ve been promising the boys that I’m going to start making time for them individually. Having so many young children and a hectic life, it’s hard sharing my time with them but they need that undivided attention. So, after a morning of football I dropped the children to their Grandma’s and headed out with Jahziah, my 10 year old to the 02.
I had no idea what to expect because if I’m honest I have never read or watched a Harry Potter prequel or sequel (pleaae don’t judge me lol).
On arriving we was welcomed by my friend and given our tickets. We were then offered food and drinks and taken to our seats (we got the full VIP treatment).
Now, considering I had no idea what to expect the film was brilliant. I did get a little lost with the story line at times but that’s because I never seen any of the films. The special effects, scenery and characters were all amazing (they’re were some really cute little creatures 😍) and was enhanced by the X screen experience. There were times when I actually felt like we was in the film.
I didn’t realise the film was so long and needed to leave so I could pick up the other children and get them home for bed but Jahziah was having none of it. I could of forced leaving but I wanted to see the end too 🙈. Now I’m itching to see what happens in the next one!
I seriously recommend that everyone goes and sees this film but make sure it’s on an X screen so you can feel the whole experience. If anyone knows me they will know that I always fall asleep in the cinema but yesterday I stayed awake for the whole 2 and a half hours…that’s how good it was.
Thank you so much Shadia, me and Jahziah had a “fantastic” afternoon together ❤
