Glint In Your Eye

I see you, but it’s that glint in your eye that’s drawn my attention.
The light shinning through when you talk of your passions.
Intrigued and aroused both at the same time.
And then it dimmers and I’m searching.
Trying to ignite it with question after question.
Just so I can see and feel it’s expression.
How do I spark it?
What is it that evokes it?
I could talk all night just to warmed by the fire.
Like the brightest star it has me mesmerised.
Inspired, I hope the power of my light shines through too.
And others will be drawn in and captivated like me to you.
That one spark of light could light so many souls.
Like a ripple effect the light will continue to grow.
Eradicate darkness and light up the world.
And to think it all started from that glint in your eye.
