Online Dating

So after being single for some months now I decided to sign up to the online dating site”Tinder” (although now I’ve been advised this wasn’t the best choice). Well, after an hour of signing up I deleted my account. Off of that one experience I don’t think online dating is for me. It felt so shallow flicking through peoples pictures and making judgements on their looks. How can you know if someone is a match for you going by a couple of pictures? And further more how do you even know if those pictures are a true reflection of that person. Personally, the whole idea of online dating scares the shit out of me. How do you know if the person you’re speaking to is the picture they’ve posted up? ( yeah I’ve seen Catfish). As a single Mum I can understabd how this may be some peoples only option but to be honest I think I’d rather not bother. I did sign up because I was intrigued and curious to see what it’s all about. But as they say curiosity killed the cat and I just lost my nineth life 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. I would so love to hear about other peoples experiences with online dating so please share!
